The electronic Digital Read Out system provides precise information on focuser position with an easy to read LED display. The four-digit display and focus control are integrated into one hand unit. With unprecedented focusing accuracy you can return to any previous focus position after swapping equipment or users. A DRO Hand Unit or Smart Focus is also necessary for proper operation.
Motofocus for Meade Cassegrain using Meade Focus Control hand unit. Fits LX5, LX6, LX100, LX200 (non-GPS versions), Premier.
The EV focuser's modular design means that you will NOT need to return the focuser for an upgrade.
Motofocus for Meade 203SC, 2080 (8") and 2120 (10") Optical Tube (Basic, GEM, LX2, LX3, MTS), LX10, LX50, LX90, LXD55 SC-8, LXD75 SC-8). Same as MFLX200 except that a JMI hand unit is included.
MOTOFOCUS is especially important for the ETX when viewing near Zenith (in Alt/Az mode) because it is very hard to reach the focus knob at this position. We use miniature motors (motor and gear box size is 1" x 0.5" x 0.375"!) for a very small package.
