The Lunt Wedge is designed to replace the standard diagonal at the rear end of your refracting telescope. Unlike front mounted filters the Wedge transmits a safe level of full spectrum light providing true white light views.

Lunt Solar Systems currently offers 4 blocking filter apertures for use with our Etalon systems. The Blocking Filter houses additional filters which are required for the safety and performance of the solar package. A blocking filter is required on all Solar Systems.

The LS35THa dedicated Hydrogen-alpha telescope is the most compact 35mm etalon system currently available. An unobstructed, front mounted, 35mm etalon provides a bandpass of <0.75 Angstroms. Prominences and some surface detail can quickly be viewed thru this very portable single stack system. Add it to an existing system or use as a quick grab and go.

Internal narrowband filters allow for a <2.4 Angstrom bandpass. Primarily an imaging system due to the difficulty of many to visually see everything that CaK has to offer. For telescopes up to 100mm aperture and 600mm focal length.

The LS60THa is a complete Solar Telescope. The refractor based system has a precision aligned singlet chromatic lens with a 60 mm aperture. The front singlet lens reduces the stray-light over an achromat by half. With the matched collimation lens set, it also fully corrects for on axis coma, astigmatism and de-centering aberrations and provides a full spherically corrected flat-field Solar-Telescope.

This refractor based system has a precision aligned air spaced doublet with a 60mm aperture. The focal length is 600mm providing a ~5.4mm image thru a 6mm blocking filter. Course focus adjustment via a slide tube. Fine adjustment is achieved with a Crayford style focuser with 10:1 reduction standard.
