This Astro-Physics 8” Vixen-style Dovetail Plate was originally designed with the 92 mm Stowaway in mind. Nevertheless, it is well suited for many small scopes.
It has the high precision fit and finish of all Astro-Physics products. Two ¼” pass-through holes are provided at the AP 6.3” hole spacing. Additional central slots are also provided to increase its versatility with accessories and other manufacturer’s scope rings.
The SBV08 is used with our 10” Dual-style Dovetail Saddle (DOVEDV10) and can also be used with all OEM V-style dovetail saddle systems.
Mounting plate
- Attach Stowaway and Traveler mounting rings via center 1/4"-20 holes
- Other manufacturer's small scopes when a quality V-style plate is needed
- Attaching wide-field DSLR cameras directly to mount
Accessory plate (attach to the top of rings and use with the following)
