Lunt Solar Systems' 18mm Blocking Eyepiece Filter, when used with a Lunt front hydrogen-alpha filter or a dedicated solar telescope, provides a 18mm aperture for observing the Sun's surface. The star diagonal viewing configuration filter fits into 1.25" focusers, and accepts any user-supplied 1.25" eyepieces and accessories. This model is recommended for use with optical tube assemblies (OTAs) with a focal length of up to 1800mm for visual observation or 1200mm for astro-imaging.
