Takahashi 7x50 Finder Bracket

on October, 17th 2009

In agreement: poorly designed.

Im in agreement with the previous reviewer. The front adjustment screws are good for one thing...removing the smooth enamel finish from your f-scope. Wierd though, since the rear adjust screws are capped in plastic covers to prevent scratches. The whole design needs re-engineering. As pointed out by the first review, it needs to include some form of a quick-release for those times when you need to break down in a hurry. I am not holding my breath, since this quick-release adapter would obviously be sold seperately and be ridiculously expensive. Thanks!

Takahashi 7x50 Finder Scope

Finder needs a diagonal.

No argument with the quality of this baby! Its sharp! I just find myself constantly contorting my body into unconfortable positions to use it. A rotating diagonal would be nice. A warning however, the mount for this finderscope will DESTROY the finish. Use caution with the front adjust screws. Thanks

Smashing eyepiece

I borrowed a friends 18 LE at the Eldorado Star Party last year for use with my FSQ. Lets just say I hated to give it back to him. Its on my wish list.

Worth every penny!

This cover fits perfectly on a Takahashi FS-152 mounted on a NJP mount. Ive used this same cover on a FSQ-106 and GM-8 mount as well. Its stood up to some fierce Texas sun, wind and thunderstorms without any damage. I plan to buy a second one for another scope. I do secure my cover with a long velcro strap as an extra measure and have never had issue with the cover coming off or rain blowing up into the cover.
