The 10mm Takahashi is a very good medium to medium high power eyepiece for lunar observing, resolving globular clusters, picking up detail in the more compact emission and reflection nebulas, etc. Its 10mm focal length provides the optimal 1mm exit pupil for the sharpest images with an f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. It makes an excellent all-purpose eyepiece with scopes of all optical types refractors, Schmidt-Newtonian and Dobsonian reflectors, catadioptrics, and more.
