Some changes have happened over the last few days. We are going to cut the sale short by one day due to the day the end of the year falls on. All TeleVue orders have to be in our hand by Midnight Dec. 30th if you want the 17% off sale price.
This part might be the most important part of this e-mail. There is a rumor that TeleVue prices are going up in 2018. We don't know when, or how much, but we understand it is happening to all the eyepieces at some point. Now is the time to buy for sure.

TeleVue Plössl

TeleVue Panoptic
TeleVue Panoptic premium-quality eyepieces have six lens elements, with an ED (extra low dispersion glass) element for exceptional contrast and a very wide field. The design provides relatively long eye relief, with up to five times the field edge correction of older wide field designs when used on fast focal ratio scopes. The Panoptics approach the performance of TeleVue Nagler eyepieces in image quality, although with a narrower field of view.

TeleVue Delos
The TeleVue Delos eyepieces are 72° field/20mm eye relief versions of TeleVue’s famed 100° to 110° field Ethos eyepieces. The TeleVue DeLite eyepieces are lighter and more compact 62° field/20mm eye relief versions of the Delos.
As such, they share all of the optical virtues of the Ethos design – full field sharpness, virtually perfect distortion mapping, and color neutrality – simply with a somewhat narrower field (but longer eye relief) than the Ethos. Since each Delos and DeLite is priced well below the comparable focal length Ethos, you give up a little field of view (but none of the Ethos performance quality) to gain some eye relief and save a lot of money.

TeleVue Nagler
TeleVue Nagler eyepieces are the premium eyepieces that started the revolution in ultra-wide field eyepiece design.
They have six to seven lens elements that give up to three times the field area of a Plössl eyepiece. While not significantly sharper than a Plössl in the center of the field, they have a much wider field and are sharper overall from edge to edge. They are also up to ten times sharper at the edges of the field than older wide angle designs such as Erfles. Their field is so wide that you have to move your head from side to side to see all of it, making looking through a Nagler more like looking out a picture window into space rather than looking through an eyepiece.

TeleVue Barlows and Powermates
If you must wear glasses while observing, and you’re looking for an ultra high power Barlow to get high magnifications from your favorite long focal length/long eye relief eyepieces, look no further than this 5x Powermate. While not technically a Barlow, this unique new 4-lens image amplifier performs the same functions, but at a higher level of optical correction.
Barlow lenses have a negative power that diverges field rays, lengthening the effective focal length of the telescope and increasing the magnification. If Barlows are made too short or with too much magnification, the diverging rays can cause severe vignetting and image degradation in eyepieces due to mismatched pupils.
The Powermate is a 4-element parfocal compact amplifying lens system that consists of a negative achromatic doublet (a Barlow) plus a positive "pupil-correcting" doublet. While it looks and functions like a Barlow, your eyepieces will operate with pupil locations where the eyepiece designer intended, avoiding vignetting and mismatch problems with wide field eyepieces. The Powermate optimally mates its power to your eyepieces.
