The VMC200Loptical tube, which offers very sharp images in the center of field of view, has a high popularity among visual observer. The package includes a robust SX2 mount with simple but versatile STAR BOOK ONE dual-axis controller and a sturdy SXG-HAL130 aluminum tripod.

  • VMC200 optical tube assembly.

    The VMC 200L features highly compact optical tube with 200mm aperture. It provides very sharp images in the field of view and highly recommended for those who attach much importance with visual observation.

  • SX2 equatorial mount.

    The SX2 incorporates precision plus motors and accurate micro-step motion control which achives highly stable and smooth movement of the mount.

  • Set up the SX2 equatorial mount easier.

    The counterweight bar is moved back into the mount body for strage by simply loosening the bar lock lever and it is convenient for transporting the mount and set up.

  • STAR BOOK ONE dual-axis controller.

    The SX2 mount comes as standard with the STAR BOOK ONE. The four direction buttons on the STAR BOOK ONE moves the mount in X and Y axes (RA snd Dec directions) either quickly and slowly. Versatile tracking options are available in addition to sidereal and solar tracking rates. Backlash compensation, autoguider port and built-in LED light are some of useful functions of the STAR BOOK ONE.

  • STAR BOOK TEN star chart go-to navigation controller is available as optional.

    The SX2 mount works with an optional STAR BOOK TEN controller, featuring an intuitive star chart Go-to system with high definition color LCD display. Incorporating over 270,000 objects, the STAR BOOK TEN identifies and tracks your trarget easily.
