Astro-Physics 1.25" Adapter with brass locking ring.

The 1.25" adapter is included with our focusers (and refractors), however we also offer it as an accessory to use with any telescope. It slips into a 2" opening and is used for 1.25" accessories. It features a brass locking ring and is threaded for 48mm filters. Please note that if you use long-barreled TeleVue Radians, you may strike the filter. In this case, we suggest that you install the 48mm filters in your 2" diagonal.

Astro-Physics Adapter

Really nice piece of work. My eyepieces feel much more secure with the brass ring holding them in place instead of a set screw. The thread for 2 filters is great as well, I have had no problems with any of my filters not threading properly.

Ive used numerous 2 to 1.25 adapters over the last few years and these are my favorite. Like all of Astro-Physics stuff, these are superbly designed, crafted, finished and anodized. The brass compression ring works very well and doesnt mar your eyepieces like a simple screw. Not sure how they could improve on this product.
