Dont confuse this with the cheaper monoculars you might buy at REI! The difference in image quality was quite apparent to me the second I used it side by side with the aforementioned mono! This one is several orders of magnitude above its cheaper competitors. I regularly carry it with me when I travel. . .its not as useful as binoculars, but it works very well nonetheless.
