<p>I purchased the Advanced VX mount to replace the old mount whose computer had become corrupted. I purchased it along with some camera adapters and a solar filter paper to make a cover for my scope for the Eclipse on 8/21/17. I found the mount to be very stable and readily accepted my old Meade LXE75 Refractor. The staff was very helpful in getting the mount and solar filteri in for me quickly, as I had to pick it up on the 19th, 2 days before eclipse. The mount exceeded my expectations, worked well for the Eclipse, in Baker City, OR, as I got some nice shots with the camera adapted to the scope. I am looking forward to using it for normal observing and I am very pleased with it. All things worked very well out of the box, and it was easy to set up. I would recommend this mount to anyone, as it is not too heavy, at 35 lbs, with tripod. The motors ran smoothly, and corrections are easy to make with the hand control.
