This diagonal increased my viewing pleasure 100% over the stock item supplied by Meade. The clarity, crisp appearance in the FOV and quality of construction was breath-taking. Due yourself a favor and upgrade to this diagonal, you wont be disappointed.

I upgraded from my standard Celestron diagonal and was truly shocked at the difference! Even under my hazy surburban skies there was an immediate quantum leap in clarity of image. Under the dark skies of WV I saw detail in M51 and M8 Id never seen before with the usual diagonal in my Nexstar 8. In stereo systems, the speaker is considered the weakest link so upgrading them gives you great value. It seems to me that upgrading ones diagonal to this level accomplishes the same end result for ones telescopic views. I am impressed!!

Having used the 2 TV Everbright as an upgrade from my stock type, I needed a smaller Diagonal to use in my finder scope having switched from its use with an auto-guider...The choice was very simple, I went with a tried and true Diagonal, this being the smaller version but only in size...If your looking out there for a great replacement for your exsisting 1.25 diagonal, look no further youll be happy you did, I Highly Recommend this version!

The diagonal should be considered as an integral part of a scope; not just the main optics and the diagonal as an afterthought. I bought this diagonal to replace the stock Celestron 1.25 diagonal I use for my trusty C5+. The difference IS noticeable. The image is sharper and brighter. What the other reviewers did not mention is the perfect collimation this diagonal has. This was the main reason I bought the Everbrite. My diagonal was seriously off collimation and I got tired of dealing with it. The Everbrite was SPOT on. I am definitely happy with it. If your diagonal suffers from poor collimation, seriously consider the Everbrite. It is well worth the asking price.
