What more can I say. I have two examples and both mirrors are perfectly aligned and units seem bullet proof. Use AP 2 SCT adapter with your diagonal and it will never move (rotate) even with heavy loads such as binoviewers.

Functional, solid, a work of art. This is going to be something youll keep forever.

This is great diagonal. I use it on a SCT and refractor to hold six eyepieces mounted in a turret, a binoviewer with 24 panoptics and a 31 Nagler. The clamp holds tightly.
The mirror is bright and flawless.
A great buy that will save your valuable eyepieces and other equipment from a fall.

As always - excellent workmanship. That has become my expectation when I buy any item by AP. The design is also up to the AP standard, meaning it too is superior. Its the simple things, like the ability to easily remove the mirror to keep it clean. Ive used and owned many diagonals.....and this is my second Maxbright - and the AP MaxBright is clearly my favorite! Its unclear to me how anyone could rate it other than a ten.

I tried the A-P MaxBright 2 Mirror Diagonal with my WO ZS110 refractor. The quality of manufacture was obvious. Fit without any wobble. Lens hold beyond reproach. With TV 32 mm Plossl images looked same as with WO Dialectric Coated diagonal. With Tak LE-ED 5mm images snapped into focus slightly better with the A-P MaxBright. The claimed scatter reduction appears to be accurate. I would recommend this diagonal without reservation.

There are lots of good diagonals available, but I know of only two which top the list. I favor the MaxBright because of Astro-Physics confidence in their mirror coatings. Although we are constantly warned against excessive cleaning of optics, this company advises us to go ahead and clean the mirror if necessary. The final proof of the product is what you see in your scope. I see a definite improvement in clarity and definition in views when using the MaxBright.
